Angling competition at Darak was introduced and conducted by an Itanagar based adventure tourism NGO called Young Mission Adventure Club (YMAC) in 2019 as its first edition in association with Arunachal Anglers Forum (AAF) and also collaborated Lodu Ao Welfare Society (LAWS) a prominent local CBO. The Hon'ble Liromoba MLA shri Nyamar Karbak flag off the Angling festival on inauguration evening as Chief guest and late Er. Marcony Potom former General Secretary of Galo Welfare Society (GWS) graced the competition event at morning as Chief guest with an army colonial from Aalo as special guest.
